ABOUT THE SEORC   The Search Engine Regulatory Commission was founded in 2003 as a not for profit organization to help web site owners in the process of analyzing the offers and services made by search engine optimization companies.  The SEORC is comprised of the Chief Executive Officers, IT Managers and Marketing Directors of 6 national Internet Marketing companies with a combined experience of over 35 years of Internet marketing experience.  Each of these members has pledged to monitor and moderate the SEORC.org web site and forum, actively report on search engine companies they encounter, abide by the Best Practices Standards laid out by the SEORC and to provide consultative services to the membership of the SEORC. The SEORC web site has been designed as a resource that will dispel many of the search engine myths and help web site owners to avoid scams and unethical tactics while providing a good basis for search engine marketers and web site owners alike in marketing themselves and their clients online.
